Hey there 👋

I'm scared of heights 🙂
My design journey
I first discovered UX design while pursuing my Health Informatics degree through a Human Factors & Usability Engineering course, where I became fascinated with the design process.
To pursue design, I self-taught myself UX design—studying design principles, analyzing case studies, and gaining hands-on experience in the industry through freelance work.
Since then, I have gained experience working in industries including legal tech, business intelligence, telecommunications, and digital health.

When I'm not designing…
When I'm not designing…
Driven by curiosity and a passion for challenge, I’ve grown through years of Olympic weightlifting, powerlifting, and Brazilian jiujitsu/submission grappling. In Olympic weightlifting, I’ve medalled at nationals and held all youth (U17) provincial records in British Columbia. I am currently competing as a blue belt in BJJ while powerlifting to stay in shape. For me, "movement is medicine" — pushing my limits keeps me learning and alive. I believe these traits have also carried over to my non-athletic endeavours such as design and my design philosophy and career.
